- LA MADDALENA
Via Giotto
The “Palazzine” of Via Giotto, built in 1895 to house the workers of the Naval Arsenal, have historically given rise to a new district on the island of La Maddalena, called “Moneta”. The rectangular buildings, measuring 24 x 11 metres, are mostly made of granite blocks, due to the abundance of this material in the archipelago.
